Shading is a crucial stage in the journey of creating a light fitting. Whilst not all lighting will require additional shades, the ones that do are often the most memorable. We understand that with so many options in terms of size, shape, colour and material to choose from, shading can sometimes feel intimidating! We have spent years developing and refining our lampshades in partnership with our sister brand The Light Shade Studio, and now consider ourselves to be expert in this area. We also work alongside some of the best British fabric suppliers in order to guarantee quality and longevity on all of our lampshades. Our range of fabrics includes classic patterned cotton in four colour ways that when gathered gives a wonderfully soft finish; dupion silk in six colour ways with texture in abundance and can be both rolled, gathered or pleated for totally different effects; two laid-back linen colour ways that each offer an elegantly simple solution with a classic natural feel; and marvellously rich silk/satins in fifteen colour ways that have both a more uniform sleek finish, as well as an unrivalled iridescent lustre.
