Last week was one of the biggest events in the design calendar, the London Design Festival, which was kick started by the iconic Decorex International, at Syon Park. Each year, thousands of visitors descend on Decorex to discover the latest interior and colour trends. For the brands exhibiting, it always feels a little like Christmas; there’s so much excitement surrounding the build and months of planning goes into the design of the exhibition and then after four fantastic days, everything is dismantled and the next project starts.

Decorex 2018 will remain fresh in our minds for quite some time, after pushing the boundaries of design with our Latest Edit and the wonderful feedback it has received from the exhibition visitors.

You may have seen from our recent blog that we enhanced a synergy between powerful brass designs and creative energy, introducing a velvet wall.

Transcending appeal, the velvet sets off our brass logo and most importantly our key AW18 brass pieces, such as the Adling and Apollo, shown below.

Our Snake and Parrot wall lights received a phenomenal amount of attention, intriguing visitors by their texture and shape. Featured below on Instagram by the inspiring Rockett St George.

Combining stunning twists and curves with detailed scales, our Snake can be ordered in a bronze or pewter finish and the quirky Parrot will add a touch of character to any interior scheme. Shown below with bespoke Linwood Fabric shades.

It was great to see Little Greene looking fabulous at Decorex on Stand A36, launching their highly anticipated capsule collection, 'Green', in collaboration with the National Trust.

Drawing inspiration from sources as diverse as Beatrix Potter’s Cumbrian farmhouse, George Bernard Shaw’s revolving writing hut and even mythical birds featured on the wallpaper hung by Chippendale at Nostell Priory, the new colour card features some intriguing stories and a gamut of glorious greens in a comprehensive array of hues.

Featured below is the Little Greene Edith’s Eye, Wormwood and Pique shown with our Visconti Wall Light.

We really enjoyed visiting the House and Garden stand, designed by decoration director, Gabby Deeming in collaboration with Arlo and Jacob.

Their Poirot sofa in Leilana fabric – pink, by Australian textile designer Anna Spiro, sat in the company of their gorgeous Stella armchairs, a delicious display of colour and texture.

Thank you so much to everyone who visited our stand at Decorex this year, we hope you enjoyed the exhibition as much as we do and look forward to Olympia in 2019!
