Product Spotlight - The Woodland Collection

In our AW18 Latest Edit, we have extended the Woodland Collection with Puddle and Horace; two charismatic rural characters that will bring a joyful light into any home.

Puddle is an enchanting bronzed duck, its elongated form beautifully enhanced by the distinctive patina of Antique Brass metalwork. The attention to detail applied to the bird’s sculpted form has created a depth of texture and a lovable air of curiosity.

Puddle can be styled with a handmade tapered lampshade in a selection of luxurious fabrics from our library of signature silks and linens to suit the surrounding decor. Shown here with Ivory silk dupion, the shade can be entirely customised in design, with a choice of shapes and sizes, exterior fabrics and linings.  

In contrast to its avian sibling, Horace the pig has a robust and determined countenance, sitting atop a pile of books to create a whimsical and endearing character. Presented in our signature Copper finish, Horace is shown with our Zoffany rectangular lampshade in Marshmallow linen; the soft pink complimenting the bold copper hues in subtle nod to current interiors trends.

Our much-loved Hopper table lamp remains an ideal addition to your home this winter. A table lamp and an instantly recognisable work of art, a sculpted hare sits majestically on a set of three vintage books. This design has been cast in a warm bronze finish and presented with a luxurious silk dupion lampshade.

Finally, our Tawny owl table lamp remains enduringly popular, boasting authentically intricate feather detailing achieved by the unique artistry of our model makers and the traditional casting techniques in the David Hunt workshop. As with the rest of the Woodland Collection, its lampshade can be ordered in a selection of opulent colours and fabrics, and is shown here in classic taupe silk.

Designed and individually handmade in the heart of the Cotswolds, our Woodland Collection is inspired by the natural beauty in the landscapes surrounding our workshop. Please be aware that shades must be ordered separately; we are proud to work closely with The Light Shade Studio, which hand finishes all of the luxury lampshades shown with our products in their Oxfordshire atelier. The Woodland Collection is a testament to our commitment as British manufacturers to achieve excellence in the craftsmanship of all of our products.
