Atelier Swarovski in Milan

We recently partnered with Swarovski to help create some of the fabulous pieces featured in their Atelier Swarovski Home Collection. All teams involved have worked incredibly hard to make these designs a reality and we are extremely proud to have been a part of this incredible launch.

Earlier this month, we visited Milan for the annual design week and we were delighted to see the collection brought to life in the ornate Palazzo Crespi. The spectacular surroundings did not retract any attention from Swarovski’s latest launch; instead, the elegance of the Palazzo simply enhanced the breath taking designs. Each piece was exhibited to a royal standard, exhaling superior aesthetics.

To build our excitement even more, we were thrilled to see the collection named a ‘Top 10 Very Best in Show’ by W Magazine AND in the ‘Top 10 Must See’ in Architectural Digest. What an achievement by Swarovski and all of the designers involved; this has certainly added a little more magic to an already fabulous 2017 in our eyes.

Above, geometry and form merge in Andre Kikoski's, 'Lustro' collection, an arrangement of multi-textured metallic hued boxes, trays and candle holders adorned with crystalline materials.

Above, Kim Thomé’s design for 'Plinth' features a metal coated resin base mixed with a halo of colored Swarovski crystal. The articulate and graphic shape of these objects expresses a modern streamlined silhouette, while remaining true to a timeless form.

Finally, with their clear, crystalline glass and modern resin base, these Lux Orbit Lanterns juxtapose the warm glow of a candle with a decidedly futuristic feel. Sprinkled across the glass surface is tactile Swarovski crystal in various hues and forms, giving the piece texture and character. A simply stunning design by Tord Boontje.
