Have it your way

Here at David Hunt Lighting we are passionate about our lights, and as they are true investment pieces, we believe that you should have them in the way that best fits your room. We offer a wide range of services that allow you to choose how much you wish to change on the majority of our fitting. This maybe something as simple as adding more chain and cable to give a longer drop on a pendant or choosing to change the colour on one of our spun metal pendants, right through to making a major change to create a fitting that will perfectly suit your space.

April hath put a spirit of youth in everything

April is a month of new beginnings. Trees and flowers begin to reawaken and put on their impressive spring display. Blossom fills the trees, and the lambs play in the sun dappled fields. Being based in the Cotswolds, we are blessed with stunning countryside all around our factory, and this is the best time of year to enjoy the sights and sounds of its beauty. We have also had some new arrivals in our product range we are excited to share with you, and they will certainly put 'a spirit of youth' in your homes.

London Design week 2023

March has been a busy month for us at David Hunt Lighting. Not only did we see the successful opening of our brand new showroom in Chelsea Harbour, we took part in London Design Week. March has been a busy month for us at David Hunt Lighting. Not only did we see the successful opening of our brand new showroom in Chelsea Harbour, we took part in London Design Week. We were proud to be able to launch our exciting new product ranges which were extremely well received. The colourful and playful Bodkin was particularly admired. Our clients loved the intricate woven detailing on the bodies and the matt finish on the metalwork contrasting with the high gloss finish on the woven elements.

We have moved!

We are delighted to announce that we have moved showrooms in the Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour. We haven't moved far, only next door, but we have a much larger space to display all our wonderful lighting. Our showroom manager Nicola Kemplay says, 'we are so excited to be expanding into our new space'. The new showroom opens its doors for Design week in March and has been completely redesigned to our specifications. We now have a dedicated space where we can host talks, events, and workshops. This is something we enjoy as it allows us to share our passion for our products with so many more of our clients.

We are asleep until we fall in love

February the time when the days begin to get longer and we feel like we are awakening from the long slumber of winter. For many of us it's a month to celebrate the joy of love. This might be with our sweethearts on Valentines day on the 14th, our pets on the 20th on 'Love your pet day', to strangers on the 17th on 'Random acts of kindness day' or the love of food on either 'Shrove Tuesday' on the 21st or 'Yorkshire pudding day' on the 5th! It seems there is much to celebrate!

Tackling those January blues

January. The month of short days, dull dank weather and post festivities lows. Most of us are feeling a lack of motivation and a pressure to come up with a New year's resolution that we will actually stick to this year! So how about ditching the gym idea, ( which we all know will only last until mid February anyway!), and think about re organising your living space so that it works better for you? The changes don't need to be big. A splash of colour on the walls or in the soft furnishings, switching you furniture so that it flows better or adding a different light can have a big positive effect on how we view our homes. As we spend more time at home with many of us now working there more frequently, making our environment more enjoyable is an instant mood lifter.
