March has been a busy month for us at David Hunt Lighting. Not only did we see the successful opening of our brand new showroom in Chelsea Harbour, we took part in London Design Week.

We were proud to be able to launch our exciting new product ranges which were extremely well received. The colourful and playful Bodkin was particularly admired.  Our clients loved the intricate woven detailing on the bodies and the matt finish on the metalwork contrasting with the high gloss finish on the woven elements. We also introduced five special edition colours for this range and our best selling Scallops. This allows clients to create even more exciting and vibrant combinations for their spaces. Displayed next to the entrance of the new showroom, the range made a delightful welcome to our new home.

We had several very successful shade painting workshops, with many of our clients both old and new letting their creative side come out into their designs. It was fabulous to have our new dedicated space in the showroom to be able to use for this. It meant clients could paint in peace while others browsed the rest of the showroom in comfort.

We were delighted that our products were also featured in some of the other showrooms in the Design Centre. Our Pimlico wall lights looked fabulous in the Colefax and Fowler showroom with bespoke shades.

Our new Devana and Fawkes table lamps sat proudly in the window  and the opening bay of the new showroom, and we had many comments appreciating their classic beauty. The intricate hand painted  scenes in a timeless blue and white combination were given a modern twist when paired with bespoke gathered shades in an Ian Makin Stripe fabric. This look was echoed on the our new Lombok and Botany table lamps which created a colourful display in their new home.

Our showroom manager, Nicola Kemplay, is excited to welcome many more of you to our new studio in the coming months, and we hope that you too will enjoy our exciting new ranges.
