For over 100 years, David Hunt lighting has been based in the small North Cotswold market town of Shipston on Stour. Our rural location inspires us to create products with varying textures and natural curiosities. – We feel incredibly lucky to have such beautiful scenery on our doorstep!

Our manufacturing processes are timeless and all of our products are handcrafted and finished using techniques that have been perfected by our team over a number of years. The flexibility in our processes allows us to recreate endless textures and affects, such as hand-stitched leather or the beauty of a natural Antler.

Our design team generate an endless stream of new ideas incorporating not only heritage inspired colours, but also on trend influences and stunning textures. Their goal is to achieve a range of products that differ from one and other aesthetically but can still suit almost any design scheme; such as industrial trends or a more traditional setting. This gives our customer base a wide variety of choice upon specification.

Another element of bespoke offering within our ranges is our 100% silk shade collection. We have a vast selection of silk dupion colours, all with an option of white, bronze, silver or gold laminate. Our colour palette has been carefully chosen based on upcoming trends and demand in the world of interior decor. Each colour compliments our ranges beautifully, such as the stylish Zoffany shade on our Hopper table lamp or the iconic Sloane range.

Last year, we introduced a paint colour palette aimed towards our Spinnings and Ironwork ranges. This has proven to be greatly popular and we’re delighted to see our customers utilising the variation of colours and creating a product that suits the intended design scheme.
